NEMS has secured a 5+2 years agreement with Epim (Exploration & Production Information Management Association) for operating EnvironmentHub, the official environmental reporting portal for all operators on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). This is an extension of an agreement entered into in 2015.
Using our experience from developing our own environmental software solutions, NEMS Accounter and NEMS Panorama, we have created a reporting software tailor-made for the client’s demand for an efficient and modern reporting portal. The solution we have made enables automatic reporting from the operators own environmental management solutions, reducing time spent on reporting tremendously. With decades of experience with analysing and trending environmental data, we also provide the client with an analytical toolbox enabling the users to draw insights out of the vast number of reported data.
In additional to all operators on NCS, Norwegian Petroleum Directorate, Norwegian Environment Agency and Norwegian Radiation Protection Agency are users of EnvironmentHub.
A representative of Statoil, now Equinor, had the following to say about the solution: “Development of new reporting system for environmental data from autumn 2015 until the operational phase in March 2016 has gone very quickly. The result is a system that works well and is intuitive, fast and easy to use with many useful features. We are kept informed along the way of progress, and has had an opportunity to test the system along the way. Improvements and inclusion of features and bug fixes have been handled instantly and we have received good support. As a result, annual report for 2015 went very well.”
Tom Dagstad, CEO at NEMS said: “We are proud to have been awarded this contract by Epim. Being awarded this contract shows the trust Epim and the operators on NCS have in our capability of delivering such software solutions. The solution we have provided has been very well received, and we look forward to continuously meet and exceed the client’s expectations. “
